Biography

Dr. Saman Abbas is an operations and education-management professional with more than 20 years of experience across higher education, hospitality and the non-profit sector. She serves as Head of the Office of Student Life at Habib University.

Her experience spans curriculum design, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, institutional governance and staff development. Her submitted work includes tourism and hospitality programme development at NUST Business School, quality and compliance responsibilities in the hospitality sector, and service with Manchester City Council.

She holds a Doctorate in Business Administration with a focus on operations management, human resources and hospitality, alongside postgraduate qualifications in financial management and a PGCE. Her professional interests include strategic planning, programme design, corporate soft skills, human resources management and diversity, equity and inclusion.
