Biography
Hamida Hazara is founder president of the Organization for Integrated Development, based in Quetta. Her work focuses on education, women’s empowerment, youth development and the inclusion of marginalised communities.
Through OID, she supports community awareness, gender equality and skills development. The organisation operates a Community Initiative Learning Centre in Hazara Town, helping Afghan refugees develop language, computer and practical workplace skills.
OID’s submitted activities include annual women’s day commemorations and the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence since 2022, alongside rights-awareness and stress-management sessions. Hamida is available for discussions and training on community development, women’s participation, inclusion and skills for employability.
