My career represents a distinctive transition from grassroots women's empowerment to national infrastructure policy. My work demonstrates that gender equality and social inclusion do not have to remain separate from large-scale infrastructure and investment decisions they can be incorporated into the frameworks through which infrastructure is planned, financed and delivered. My experience sits at a relatively uncommon intersection in Pakistan: women’s rights, PPP transaction advisory, transport infrastructure, and environmental, social, gender and climate safeguards.
