Biography

Syeda Rubab Haider is a social entrepreneur and development professional whose work spans women’s empowerment, governance, international relations and community development. She is Founder and CEO of Hunar Madaar, an initiative supporting women from underserved communities through practical skills, confidence-building and opportunities for economic independence.

Alongside her community work, she serves as Consultant to the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, contributing to parliamentary engagement, policy discussions and stakeholder coordination.

Her academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Defence and Diplomatic Studies from Fatima Jinnah Women University and postgraduate studies in Roads to Democracy at the University of Siegen, Germany. Her submitted experience includes an internship at the Consulate of Pakistan in Frankfurt, international volunteering and service as General Secretary of the Rotary Club of Rawalpindi City. Her interests include inclusive development, civic engagement and women’s participation in decision-making.
